My cat won't let me blog ...
She is also trying to eat my ice cream! But that's OK, because she is a silly wonderful nut who was a rescue kitty, and I love her.
On that note (and because we like to give back to the community!), just wanted to share

a couple of updates.
Kitty food and paper towels donation: Our local Sullivan County Humane Society is always in need of volunteers, funds, and donations of all kinds. They help the community in numerous ways, including medical care and rehoming of stray and abandoned cats, spay/neuter clinics, adoption and education, and a pet food bank. To assist with a recent shortage in the food bank, Victoria's Artisan Gifts recently donated a big happy gift bag stuffed with six bags of cat food and six paper towel rolls. Just a little help, but we like to give when we can. :)
Library renovation donation: We also love BOOKS! And When a volunteer with the Whiting Library in Chester, Vermont came to see me to ask for donations for their auction, she walked away with a large Chalkboard Mat and a small one too, which will go into the auction pile to help raise funds for an update to the library's lighting system.
(Note, I don't live in Chester, but worked there for a year, and it's close to home).
So, just a quick roundup of little ways we try to help give back. Meanwhile, you can find us next at the Peru Fair this Saturday, Sept. 28 in Peru, Vermont. :)
And I did share my ice cream. Zelda, the studio cat, is purring now. ;)
Till next time!
